It is intended to be a raw edge applique finish, but you could really get creative with your quilting.  The kit comes with the layout design and even includes a marking pencil. Please be sure to read all of the directions and follow the fusing directions in your pattern. This quilt kit contains a mix of batik and printed fabrics, please note, your kit might not be exactly as shown.

As you can see in the pictures above, this kit really lends itself to some creative quilting and thread painting to really make your rooster and the stained glass pieces pop.
